Laundry Room Remodeling
Plan a laundry room around appliance fit, water connections, folding space and access for maintenance when the machines are in place.
Make room for the machines in use
A washer that fits an opening may still block the doorway with its door open. Allow for connections behind the units, the direction of door swings, and a route for bringing an appliance in or taking it out.
Choose storage around your routine
Identify where clothes arrive, where they hang to dry and where folded items go. Set the height of shelves and folding surfaces after choosing the machines, particularly for stacked units or front-loaders on pedestals.
Can we move the washer to another room?
That depends on the available drain, water, ventilation and electrical routes. Share photos of the proposed location and any accessible space above, below or behind it.
