Frequently asked questions
Is R&B Master Construction Inc. licensed in California?
Yes. We hold California CSLB license #1158657 (General Building). You can verify the license on the CSLB Instant License Check before you sign a contract.
How do I contact R&B Master Construction in San Jose?
Call (650) 800-9661 or email info@rbmasterconstruction.com. Our San Jose office is at 84 W Santa Clara St, Suite 700, San Jose, CA 95113. Hours are Monday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time.
What areas do you serve?
We serve homeowners across the San Francisco Bay Area from offices listed for San Jose, Cupertino, San Mateo, San Francisco and Walnut Creek. Share your city when you inquire so we can confirm project availability for your scope and schedule.
How much does a kitchen or bathroom remodel cost in the Bay Area?
For typical mid-range Bay Area projects, planning ranges published on our homepage FAQ are about $50,000–$80,000 for a kitchen remodel and $25,000–$45,000 for a bathroom remodel. Design, architectural drawings and permits are included as described there. Smaller updates are welcome. Final price comes after a free estimate.
Do you build ADUs and garage conversions?
Yes. We provide ADU construction and home additions, including projects that involve garage conversions where the property and city rules allow. We coordinate measured drawings, plans and permitting as part of the scope when that is contracted.
How much is the deposit?
For home-improvement projects, your initial deposit will not exceed 10% of the contract price or $1,000, whichever is less. Progress payments are tied to completed work and delivered materials under a written contract. The same deposit rule is published on our homepage FAQ.
Do I need plans before I call?
No. You can start with an idea, a problem in your existing home, or a few reference images. If you already have plans, mention them so we can discuss the next step.
Check the license yourself
