Drywall Installation and Repair
Match new drywall to the surrounding room, from small openings after trade work to new walls that need a smooth, paint-ready finish.

Define the repair area
A small opening behind a pipe and a full new wall need different preparation. Identify the edges of the patch, existing texture and how light falls across the surface. Discuss any underlying leak or movement before covering the opening.
Set the finish before painting
A repair that disappears under flat paint may show under a higher sheen or strong side lighting. Agree on a sample area, priming and the extent of repainting, especially when the old color has faded.
Can you match the existing wall texture?
Bring a close-up and a wide photo in daylight. The team can compare a local texture match with refinishing a larger continuous surface.
