Post-and-beam kitchens need a different plan.
There is rarely an attic to hide a new circuit or a range-hood duct in an Eichler. We plan routes through the roof, the slab or the cabinets themselves, and show them on the drawings.
Palo Alto's older craftsman and revival houses are a different job altogether, with conventional framing and their own surprises.
