Los Altos reviews bathroom remodels that change plumbing, wiring or walls through its Building Division, and plans are submitted electronically.
- Keep exterior separate. Interior bathroom work stays outside R1 design review, but changing a window or adding area does not.
- Send the submittal. Drawings, documents and the application go to the Building Division electronically, and we answer corrections.
- Inspect before tile. Plumbing, electrical and waterproofing are inspected before covering, then a final completes the permit.
