Santa Clara kitchens start with the electrical question.
Because Santa Clara runs its own electric utility, Silicon Valley Power, any kitchen that adds an induction range, a second oven or a heat pump water heater nearby raises a service-capacity question early. We look at the existing panel during the first visit so the drawings reflect what the house can actually carry.
From there the layout follows. Many homes near the Old Quad and Central Park have closed kitchens off a dining room, while newer streets around Rivermark often need finishes and storage more than new walls.

Duct routing for the range hood is shown on the plans, since attic and soffit space differs a lot from house to house.
Construction and inspections
Our crew demolishes, rebuilds and finishes the kitchen, then meets the City inspector at each required stage.

Santa Clara's Community Development Department reviews residential remodels through its Building Division, and the Permit Center at City Hall on Warburton Avenue answers counter questions.
- Upload through POP. Kitchen drawings and the application are submitted on the Permitting Online Portal, which also carries the reviewer's comments back to us.
- Coordinate any service change. If the panel or meter needs an upgrade, that work is coordinated with Silicon Valley Power alongside the building permit.
- Inspect and close. Rough framing, wiring and plumbing are checked before drywall, and a final inspection closes the permit file.
